ばね31は、継続してランセット19に力を加え、ヘッド29を通して針の先端を駆動する。これによって、針の周囲でスリーブ30が蛇腹状に折り畳まれることになる。針先端21は、接触板13の開口14を通して駆動され、使用者の皮膚を突き刺す。この時点で、ばね31は、多少過度に伸長しているので収縮し始め、ランセットを引張り、ランセットとともに、針先端を接触板の開口を通してケース内に戻す。
Claims (11)
- ケースと、針を有しケース内に配置されるランセットと、ランセット発射機構とを含む皮膚に刺す装置であって、発射機構は、
使用の際に針に力を加え、ケースの開口を通して針を駆動して使用者の皮膚に刺すための、使用していない状態では圧縮されているばねと、
ばねを解除するための指で作動可能なトリガと、
使用者の皮膚の刺すべき領域に接触するための接触部分を含むトリガロックとを含み、ロックは、接触部分に加えられる圧力によってトリガロック位置とトリガ解除位置との間で移動可能となる、皮膚に刺す装置。 - ランセット上、またはケースの内側に形成され、ランセットまたはケースの反対側に形成された留め具と係合して、使用していない状態では圧縮されているばねとともに、ケース内のランセットを保持するラッチと、
トリガロックが前記トリガ解除位置にあり、かつ、前記トリガが押し下げられると、留め具またはラッチと係合してランセットを解除する、トリガから垂下しているランセット解除部材とをさらに備え、
トリガロックおよび指で作動可能なトリガは、使用者によって、2つの部品にほぼ同時に加えられる外部圧力によって解除される機械インタロックを与える、請求項1に記載の皮膚を刺す装置。 - 前記指で作動可能なトリガおよび前記トリガロックは、前記ケースと一体成形されている、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記トリガおよび前記トリガロックは、互いにほぼ直交する方向に移動可能なように設けられている、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記トリガロックは、ケースを通るランセットの移動の方向に対してほぼ平行な方向に移動可能である、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の装置。
- トリガロックは、前記開口が貫通して形成されている接触板を含み、接触板は、使用者の皮膚の刺すべき部分と接するための外部接触表面を有する、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 接触板は、接触板をケースに対して外向きに偏るように設けられた1つまたは複数のばね手段によってケースに結合される、請求項6に記載の装置。
- そのような少なくとも1つのばね手段は、可とう性ヒンジでケースに装着され、それによって、組立時に、トリガロックをケース内部で折り畳むことができる、請求項7に記載の装置。
- ばね手段は、1Nを超える力によって克服される、接触板の内向きの移動に対する抵抗をもたらすように設けられる、請求項7または8に記載の装置。
- 指で作動可能なトリガは、トリガロックが前記トリガロック位置にあるときはトリガロックの表面と係合するように設けられ、かつ、トリガロックが前記トリガ解除位置にあるときはトリガロックを通る通路と同じ位置にあるように設けられる停止部材を含む、請求項1ないし9のいずれか1つに記載の装置。
- 請求項1ないし10のいずれかに記載の皮膚を刺す装置を製造する方法であって、
少なくとも1つのヒンジによって結合された上ケース部と下ケース部とを含む単一のプラスチック部品と、少なくとも1つのヒンジによって上ケース部および下ケース部の一方に結合されたトリガロックとを成形するステップと、
上ケース部および下ケース部の一方の内部にランセットを配置し、かつ、ランセットとケースとの間にばねを配置するステップと、
上ケース部および下ケース部の一方の中におけるヒンジを軸にしてトリガロックを折り畳み、かつ、ケース部をそれらのヒンジを軸にしてともに折り畳んで、ランセットおよびばねの周囲でケースを閉じるステップとを含む、方法。
