Description

Claims (31)
- 少なくとも1つの試料の中に含まれている対象成分を処理するための自動システムであって、
前記試料から前記対象成分を抽出する抽出装置と、
該抽出装置によって抽出された前記対象成分を検出する検出装置と、
前記対象成分を前記抽出装置から前記検出装置に自動的に移すロボットと
を備え、該ロボットは、選択機能組立ロボットアーム(SCARA)を備えていることを特徴とする自動システム。 - 前記対象成分は、核酸を含み、
前記抽出装置は、前記試料から前記核酸を抽出するようになされ、
前記検出装置は、前記抽出された核酸を検出するようになされ、
前記ロボットは、前記抽出された核酸を前記検出装置に自動的に移すようになされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動システム。 - 前記抽出された対象成分は、核酸を含み、
前記検出装置は、前記核酸を増幅するための増幅装置を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動システム。 - 前記増幅装置は、加熱器を備えていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動システム。
- 前記抽出装置は、前記試料から前記対象成分を抽出するために、該対象成分の非特異的な捕獲を行うようになされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動システム。
- 前記対象成分は、核酸であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の自動システム。
- 前記対象成分は、タンパク質であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の自動システム。
- 前記ロボットは、前記抽出装置が前記対象成分を抽出するのを助けるために、液体を前記抽出装置に移し、かつ液体を前記抽出装置から取り出すようになされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動システム。
- 前記抽出装置及び前記検出装置は、単一ユニットとして統合されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動システム。
- 前記試料を収容する少なくとも1つの容器を受け入れるようになされた試料ラックを備え、
前記ロボットは、前記試料を前記容器から前記抽出装置に自動的に移すようになされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動システム。 - 試料から核酸を抽出するための自動システムであって、
選択機能組立ロボットアーム(SCARA)と、
前記試料から前記核酸を抽出する抽出装置と
を備え、前記SCARAは、前記試料を容器から前記抽出装置に移すようになされていることを特徴とする自動システム。 - 前記SCARAは、前記抽出された核酸を前記抽出装置から前記核酸の存在を検出する検出装置に移すようになされていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の自動システム。
- 試料から標的核酸を抽出するための自動システムであって、
前記試料中に存在し得る非標的核酸から前記標的核酸を分離することなく、前記試料から前記核酸を抽出するために、前記標的核酸の非特異的な捕獲を行うようになされた抽出装置と、
前記抽出された核酸を増幅するようになされた増幅器と、
前記抽出された核酸を前記増幅器に自動的に搬送するようになされた組立ロボットと
を備えていることを特徴とする自動システム。 - 前記ロボットは、前記試料を容器から前記抽出装置に移すようになされていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の自動システム。
- 前記ロボットは、前記抽出装置が前記標的核酸を抽出するのを助けるために、液体を前記抽出装置に移すようになされていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の自動システム。
- 試料中に含まれている対象成分を処理する自動処理方法であって、
前記試料から前記対象成分を抽出するために抽出装置を動作させる工程と、
該抽出装置によって抽出された前記対象成分の存在を検出するために検出装置を動作させる工程と、
前記抽出された対象成分を前記抽出装置から前記検出装置に自動的に移す工程と
を有し、該自動的に移す工程は、移す工程を実行するために、選択機能組立ロボットアーム(SCARA)を動作させる工程を有することを特徴とする自動処理方法。 - 前記対象成分は、核酸を含み、
前記抽出装置を動作させる工程は、前記試料から前記核酸を抽出し、
前記検出装置を動作させる工程は、前記抽出された核酸を検出し、
前記自動的に移す工程は、前記試料を前記抽出装置に移し、かつ前記抽出された核酸を前記検出装置に自動的に移すことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の自動処理方法。 - 前記抽出された対象成分は、核酸を含み、
前記検出装置を動作させる工程は、前記核酸を増幅する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の自動処理方法。 - 前記増幅する工程は、前記核酸を加熱する工程を有することを特徴とする請求項18に記載の自動処理方法。
- 前記抽出装置を動作させる工程は、前記試料から前記対象成分を抽出するために、前記対象成分の非特異的な捕獲を行うことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の自動処理方法。
- 前記対象成分は、核酸であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の自動処理方法。
- 前記対象成分は、タンパク質であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の自動処理方法。
- 前記抽出装置が前記対象成分を抽出するのを助けるために、液体を前記抽出装置に自動的に移す工程を有することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の自動処理方法。
- 前記抽出装置及び前記検出装置は、単一ユニットとして統合されていることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の自動処理方法。
- 前記試料を収容する少なくとも1つの容器を試料ラックの中に受け入れる工程と、
前記SCARAを使用して、前記試料を前記容器から前記抽出装置に自動的に移す工程と
を有することを特徴とする請求項16に記載の自動処理方法。 - 試料から核酸を自動的に抽出する核酸自動抽出方法であって、
選択機能組立ロボットアーム(SCARA)を動作させる工程と、
抽出装置で前記試料から前記核酸を抽出する工程と
を有し、前記SCARAを動作させる工程は、前記試料を容器から前記抽出装置に移す工程を有することを特徴とする核酸自動抽出方法。 - 前記抽出装置から、前記核酸の存在を検出するようになされている検出装置に、前記抽出された核酸を移すために、前記SCARAを動作させる工程を有することを特徴とする請求項26に記載の核酸自動抽出方法。
- 試料から標的核酸を自動的に抽出する核酸自動抽出方法であって、
前記試料中に存在し得る非標的核酸から前記標的核酸を分離することなく、前記試料から前記核酸を抽出するために、前記標的核酸に対して非特異的な捕獲を行うために抽出装置を動作させる工程と、
前記抽出された核酸を増幅するために増幅器を動作させる工程と、
前記抽出された核酸を前記抽出装置から前記増幅器に選択機能組立ロボットアーム(SCARA)を用いて自動的に移す工程と
を有することを特徴とする核酸自動抽出方法。 - 前記試料を容器から前記抽出装置に自動的に移す工程を有することを特徴とする請求項28に記載の核酸自動抽出方法。
- 前記抽出器が前記標的核酸を抽出するのを助けるために、液体を前記抽出装置に自動的に移す工程を有することを特徴とする請求項26に記載の核酸自動抽出方法。
- 試料中に存在し得る標的核酸配列を単離し、かつ増幅するための自動化方法であって、
前記試料中に存在し得る非標的配列から前記標的核酸配列を分離する必要なく、前記標的核酸配列に対して非特異的な結合を行うことによって、分離ステーションで前記試料中から前記標的核酸配列を自動的に分離する工程と、
前記分離された標的配列を前記分離ステーションから増幅培養ステーション(amplifing incubation station)に選択機能組立ロボットアーム(SCARA)を用いて自動的に輸送する工程と
を有することを特徴とする自動化方法。
