Claims (3)
- ロータ(12)と前記ロータを囲むステータ(14)と前記ステータ内で回転するように前記ロータを支持するための支持システムとを含む発電機(10)であって、
前記ロータが永久磁石ロータ又は界磁巻線(20)と外側格納シェル(50)とを備え、
前記外側格納シェル(50)が、前記ロータの回転中の遠心力に抗して前記永久磁石ロータ又は界磁巻線(20)を格納するのに十分な強度を有し、
前記外側格納シェル(50)は、前記ロータの長手方向に沿って軸方向に間隔をおいて配置された複数の溝(52)が設けられた外周表面(28)を含み、
前記外周表面の前記複数の溝は、正弦波形状断面を有して前記ロータの回転中の風損を減少させる
ことを特徴とする空気冷却式発電機。 - 前記外周表面(28)が風損をさらに減少させるために研磨されている、請求項1記載のロータ本体組立体。
- 前記ロータが超伝導ロータである、請求項1または2記載のロータ本体組立体。
