Claims (5)
- 左右横長とした四角形状の電池ケースと、前記電池ケースの上下左右のいずれかの設定面壁を選んで、該設定面壁の基準短辺の近くに設けられた防爆弁とを有しており、
前記防爆弁は、中央屈曲部が前記設定面壁の前後方向中央部位に位置して、前後方向に開脚するV字形状ないしU字形状に凹み形成されたV字形溝と、前記V字形溝によって形成された肉薄壁とを含み、
前記設定面壁には、前記V字形溝の前後端と前記設定面壁の前後の長辺とをつなぐカット溝が切り込み形成されていることを特徴とする密閉角形電池。 - 前記電池ケースは、上面が開口する有底角筒形状のケース本体と、前記ケース本体の開口上面を密閉状に閉じる蓋とを含み、
前記蓋の主面壁を前記設定面壁として、該当の設定面壁に防爆弁が設けられている請求項1記載の密閉角形電池。 - 前記V字形溝が、前記設定面壁の内外に凹み形成された凹溝からなり、
内外の前記凹溝間に、前記肉薄壁が形成されている請求項1または2記載の密閉角形電池。 - 前記肉薄壁の厚さ寸法が、0.05mm〜0.3mmに設定されている請求項1または2または3記載の密閉角形電池。
- 前記カット溝の溝幅方向の中央と、前記設定面壁の前記基準短辺との間の寸法が、3.0mm〜6.7mmの範囲に設定されている請求項4記載の密閉角形電池。
