Description
しかも、互いに相対変位可能な第一部材及び第2部材の内の一方に永久磁石を固定すると共に、この永久磁石により形成される同一の検出用磁場内に、永久磁石と非接触状態でデジタルホールICとリニアホールICを固定すれば、独立した2つの検出信号が得られて、制御部から制御信号を出力できるので、従来のようなポテンショメータ等を設ける必要がなく、機械的スイッチの不具合を防止でき、前記のような誤作動を防止し易い相対位置検出制御装置をコンパクトに、且つ、安価に構成することができる。
また、第1部材と第2部材とが相対変位する方向に、永久磁石のN極とS極とを並べて配置した構成を有しているので、N極とS極との間で磁力線の方向の変化が大きく、その位置をデジタルホールICにより基準位置として検出し易い。
また、第1部材と第2部材とが基準位置と最大変位位置との間で相対変位するものであって、検出用磁場の磁束密度が単調変化する範囲内にリニアホールICが配置されるように、第1部材及び第2部材に永久磁石及びリニアホールICが固定されているので、第1部材と第2部材とを相対変位させることにより、単調変化する検出信号を生成させ易く、第1部材と第2部材との変位量に対向した制御信号を制御部から出力することが容易である。
しかも、ハンドルバーとアクセルグリップとに、永久磁石と少なくとも二つのホールICをそれぞれ固定して、制御部から制御信号出力できるようにすれば、駆動源を制御できるため、従来のようなポテンショメータ等を設ける必要がなく、コンパクトに設置することが可能で、アクセルグリップ周りに相対位置検出制御装置を設置することも可能である。しかも、アクセルグリップとポテンショメータとを連結するワイヤーなども必要なく、外観品質を向上させ易いと共に、部品点数及び組立工数を少なく抑えることができる。

Claims (4)
- 基準位置と最大変位位置との間で互いに相対変位可能な第1部材及び第2部材を有し、前記第1部材には連続した検出用磁場を生成する円弧の対称中心でN極とS極を結合した一つの円弧状の永久磁石が固定され、前記第2部材には前記永久磁石により形成される前記検出用磁場の磁束密度を検出して検出信号を出力する検出部が固定され、前記第1部材と前記第2部材との相対位置における前記検出信号に基づいて制御部から制御信号を出力する相対位置検出制御装置であって、
前記検出部は、同一の前記検出用磁場内に前記永久磁石と非接触状態で固定されたデジタルホールICとリニアホールICとを有し、前記デジタルホールICは、前記基準位置を示す第1の検出信号を出力可能であると共に、前記リニアホールICは、前記磁束密度の変化に対応して変化する第2の検出信号を出力可能であり、
前記制御部は、前記第1の検出信号が前記基準位置を示す状態で、該基準位置に対応する前記制御信号を出力すると共に、前記第1の検出信号が前記基準位置を示さない状態では、前記第2の検出信号に対応する前記制御信号を出力すると共に、
前記検出用磁場の磁束密度が単調変化する範囲内に前記リニアホールICが配置されるように、前記第1部材及び前記第2部材に、前記永久磁石及び前記リニアホールICが固定されていることを特徴とする相対位置検出制御装置。 - 前記永久磁石と離間した状態で対向配置される磁性を有する金属板を備え、前記デジタルホールIC及び前記リニアホールICは、前記金属板と前記永久磁石との間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の相対位置検出制御装置。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の相対位置検出制御装置が、アクセル開度を制御可能に装着された鞍乗り型車両であって、
前記永久磁石及び前記検出部の内の一方はハンドルバーに固定されると共に、他方は前記ハンドルバーに回動可能に装着されたアクセルグリップに固定され、該アクセルグリップの全閉位置を前記基準位置として前記相対位置検出制御装置が装着されていることを特徴とする鞍乗り型車両。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の相対位置検出制御装置が、アクセル開度を制御可能に装着された鞍乗り型車両であって、
前記検出部はハンドルバーに固定されると共に、前記永久磁石は前記ハンドルバーに回動可能に装着されたアクセルグリップのチューブガイド部に一体成形され、該アクセルグリップの全閉位置を前記基準位置として前記相対位置検出制御装置が装着されていることを特徴とする鞍乗り型車両。
