そして、このようなデッドボルトと鎌片とを併設したタイプの錠装置においては、デッドカムの定位手段としてクリックばねや思案ばねを設ける場合、デッドカムと錠箱との間に設けられるそれらのばねは、デッドボルトと重なるような位置関係において揺動する鎌片の邪魔にならないように、カム部から十分に離れた位置に設けるのが普通であった。

この発明の錠装置は、デッドカムの定位手段をデッドボルトに組み込み全体を小型化し、錠箱内の空間を有効利用できるようにすることを目的として提案されたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するため、この発明の錠装置は、錠箱内で水平方向に移動可能に案内されたデッドボルトと、一端を錠箱内に枢支され、デッドボルトと共にストライクの係入孔に共に係入できるように併設された鎌片とを有するものにおいて、上記デッドボルトは、錠箱内に支承されシリンダ錠又はサムターンによって回動操作されるデッドカムの作動に伴って、その先端が錠箱のフロント板から突出入され、また、デッドボルトと鎌片との間はデッドボルトに突設した作動ピンと鎌片に設けた長孔の組でなる連係手段で連係されており、一方、デッドカムのデッドボルトに近接した部分には突片を設け、他方、中央部にループを有するねじりばねを、一端をデッドボルトに係止させると共に、他端側をデッドカムの突片に当接させ、かつ、ループを前記の作動ピンを兼ねる係止ピンに巻装するようにし、以て、デッドカムの定位手段をデッドボルトに組込んで錠箱内の空間を有効利用できるようにしたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面に示す実施例に基いてこの発明について説明する。
図1及び図2において、符号10は扉、20はその扉10の開放側端部が対向する扉枠又は対をなす他の扉をそれぞれ示している。

符号1は扉10の開放側端部に面付け又は彫り込みによりねじ91等で固設される錠箱で、錠箱1内の上方部分にはこの発明の主要部である本締り機構30が設けられ、また、下方部分には仮締り機構40が設けられている。

仮締り機構40は、周知のように、ラッチボルト40a、ラッチばね40b、ハンドル軸(図示しない)が連係されるリトラクタ40c及び戻しばね40d等から成る。但し、この仮締り機構40は本発明にとって必須ではない。つまり、この発明に係る錠装置は本締り機構40のみとすることもできる。

【発明の効果】
以上に説明したこの発明の錠装置によれば、デッドボルトと鎌片とが併設されているタイプであるに関わらず、デッドカムの施錠位置及び解錠位置をクリック的に定める定位手段としてのねじりばねが、その一端をデッドボルトに係止させると共に、他端側をデッドカムの突片に当接させ、かつ、中央のループを作動ピンを兼ねる係止ピンに嵌め込むことにより、デッドボルトにコンパクトに添設させる形態をなして装着されるので、デッドカムの定位手段の小型化に伴って錠箱内の限られた空間が有効に利用されることになり、錠箱の大型化を避けることができるという効果を奏する。
