Abstract
【解決手段】差動ギヤ機構3を収容する一体型のデフケース2の一側部及び他側部に,同一軸線X上に並んでミッションケース1に回転自在に支承される軸受ボス4 ,5 を一体に形成し,同デフケースの周壁に作業窓18を設け,差動ギヤ機構3のサイドギヤ11に,第1及び第2軸受ボス4,5に回転自在に支承されるスリーブ20を液密に連結した差動装置において,各スリーブ20を,作業窓18からデフケース2内を通して軸受ボス4,5の内周に嵌挿し得るように構成し,これらスリーブ20及び軸受ボス4,5間に,スリーブ20の抜け止め手段24を設け,またサイドギヤ11及びスリーブ20間に,デフケース2内の潤滑オイルが外部に流出することを阻止するシール手段26を設けた。

Claims (5)
- 差動ギヤ機構(3)を収容する一体型のデフケース(2)の一側部及び他側部に,同一軸線(X)上に並んでミッションケース(1)に回転自在に支承される第1及び第2軸受ボス(4 ,5 )を一体に形成し,また同デフケース(2)の周壁に,前記差動ギヤ機構( 3)を挿入するための作業窓(18)を設け,前記差動ギヤ機構(3)の左右一対のサイドギヤ(11)に,前記第1及び第2軸受ボス(4,5)に回転自在に支承される一対のスリーブ(20)を液密に連結し,これらスリーブ(20)の前記第1及び第2軸受ボス(4,5)より突出する外端部と前記ミッションケース(1)との間にオイルシール(25)が介装され,前記一対のサイドギヤ(11)又は前記スリーブ(20)に左右のドライブ軸(8,9)が連結される差動装置において,
前記各スリーブ(20)を,前記作業窓(18)から前記デフケース(2)内を通して前記軸受ボス(4,5)の内周に嵌挿し得るように構成し,これらスリーブ(20)及び前記第1,第2軸受ボス(4,5)間に,各スリーブ(20)の軸方向外方への抜け止めをなす抜け止め手段(24)を設け,また前記サイドギヤ(11)及び前記スリーブ(20)間に,前記デフケース(2)内の潤滑オイルがこれらサイドギヤ(11)及びスリーブ(20)間から外部に流出することを阻止するシール手段(26,32)を設けたことを特徴とする差動装置。 - 請求項1に記載の差動装置において,
前記スリーブ(20)を,その外径が前記作業窓(18)の内径より小で,且つその長さが前記デフケース(2)の内径より小となるように構成したことを特徴とする差動装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の差動装置において,
前記抜け止め手段(24)を,前記第1及び第2軸受ボス(4,5)の内周に形成される環状の内向き環状段部(24a)と,前記スリーブ(20)の外周に形成されて前記内向き段部(24a)に当接する環状の外向き段部(24b)とで構成したことを特徴とする差動装置。 - 請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の差動装置において,
前記シール手段を,前記サイドギヤ(11)及びスリーブ(20)の嵌合部に介装されるシール部材(26,32)で構成したことを特徴とする差動装置。 - 請求項1記載の差動装置の組立方法であって,
前記スリーブ(20)を,前記作業窓(18)及び前記デフケース(2)の内部を通して前記第1及び第2軸受ボス(4,5)の内周に嵌挿して前記抜け止め手段(24)を確立する第1工程と,この第1工程後,前記差動ギヤ機構(3)を前記作業窓(18)から前記デフケース(2)内に組み込んで前記サイドギヤ(11)及びスリーブ(20)間の連結を確立する第2工程とを含むことを特徴とする,差動装置の組立方法。
