Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 嚢切開を行うための方法であって、
嚢切開プローブを目の前房へと挿入することと、
前記嚢切開プローブの一部を前記目の前水晶体嚢に接触させて配置することと、
前記嚢切開プローブを介して少なくとも1つの無線周波数(RF)パルスを前記目に送ることと、を含み、送られた前記RFパルスは、送られた該RFパルスのパワーレベルが前記RFパルスの継続時間に亘り略減衰されるような所定の減衰形状を有する方法。 - 前記所定の減衰形状は、送られた前記RFパルスの前記パワーレベルが前記RFパルスの継続時間に亘り少なくとも2分の1に減衰されるような減衰形状である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の減衰形状は、送られた前記RFパルスが前記目の中で気泡核形成を生じるような減衰形状である請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの前記RFパルスを前記目に送ることは、一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれのエネルギが直前のパルスのエネルギに対して略減衰されるような一連の2以上のRFパルスを前記目に送ることを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、前記直前のパルスの振幅に対して略減衰される請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、一連の1回目のパルスの振幅と略等しく、前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの長さは、前記直前のパルスの長さより略短い請求項4に記載の方法。
- 嚢切開を行うための方法であって、
嚢切開プローブを目の前房へと挿入することと、
前記嚢切開プローブの一部を前記目の前水晶体嚢に接触させて配置することと、
一連の2以上の無線周波数(RF)パルスを前記嚢切開プローブを介して前記目に送ることであって一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれのエネルギが直前のパルスのエネルギに対して略減衰されるように送ることと、を含む方法。 - 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、前記直前のパルスの振幅に対して略減衰される請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、一連の1回目のパルスの振幅と略等しく、前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの長さが、前記直前のパルスの長さより略短い請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれのエネルギが、前のパルスのエネルギに対して少なくとも20パーセント減衰される請求項7に記載の方法。
- 送られた前記RFパルスのそれぞれは、送られた該RFパルスのパワーレベルが前記RFパルスの継続時間に亘り略減衰されるような所定の減衰形状を有する請求項7に記載の方法。
- 切開部を通して目に挿入するために構成された嚢切開プローブと、
該嚢切開プローブに電気的に接続され、少なくとも1つの無線周波数(RF)パルスを前記嚢切開プローブに送るように構成されたパルス発生器と、を具備し、送られた前記RFパルスは、送られた該RFパルスのパワーレベルが前記RFパルスの継続時間に亘り略減衰されるような所定の減衰形状を有する嚢切開装置。 - 所定の減衰形状は、送られた前記RFパルスの前記パワーレベルが前記RFパルスの継続時間に亘り少なくとも2分の1に減衰されるような減衰形状である請求項12に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 前記所定の減衰形状は、送られた前記RFパルスが前記目の中で気泡核形成を生じるような減衰形状である請求項12に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 前記パルス発生器は、一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれのエネルギが前のパルスのエネルギに対して略減衰されるような一連の2以上のRFパルスを前記目に送るように構成された請求項12に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、直前のパルスの振幅に対して略減衰される請求項15に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、一連の1回目のパルスの振幅と略等しく、前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの長さは、直前のパルスの長さより略短い請求項15に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 切開部を通して目に挿入するために構成された嚢切開プローブと、
パルス発生器であって、前記嚢切開プローブに電気的に接続され、且つ、一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれのエネルギが直前のパルスのエネルギに対して略減衰されるような一連の2以上の無線周波数(RF)パルスを前記嚢切開プローブに送るように構成されたパルス発生器と、を具備する嚢切開装置。 - 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、直前のパルスの振幅に対して略減衰される請求項18に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの振幅が、一連の1回目のパルスの振幅と略等しく、前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれの長さは、前記直前のパルスの長さより略短い請求項18に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 前記一連の2回目以降のパルスのそれぞれのエネルギが、前のパルスのエネルギに対して少なくとも20パーセント減衰される請求項18に記載の嚢切開装置。
- 送られた前記RFパルスのそれぞれは、送られた該RFパルスのパワーレベルが前記RFパルスの継続時間に亘り略減衰されるような所定の減衰形状を有する請求項18に記載の嚢切開装置。
