Claims (36)
- 受信機デバイス上の受信アンテナに結合するための結合モード領域内で近距離場放射を発生させるための送信アンテナと、
前記受信機デバイスが前記結合モード領域中にあるとき、前記受信機デバイスからホストデバイスに受信機情報を伝達するための通信インターフェースと、
前記送信アンテナと前記通信インターフェースとに動作可能に結合されたコントローラであって、通知情報を生成するために前記受信機情報を監視および処理するためのコントローラと、
前記コントローラに動作可能に結合されたユーザ知覚可能通知器であって、前記通知情報をユーザに通信するためのユーザ知覚可能通知器と
を含む、電力送信デバイス。 - 前記コントローラと前記送信アンテナとに動作可能に結合された増幅器と、
前記増幅器と前記コントローラとに動作可能に結合された負荷感知回路であって、前記増幅器による電力消費量の変化を検出し、前記コントローラに対して電力消費量の前記変化を表すシリアル応答信号を発生するための負荷感知回路と
をさらに含み、
前記コントローラがさらに、前記結合モード領域中の新しい受信機デバイスの存在、または前記結合モード領域中の既存の受信機デバイスの前記受信機情報のうちの少なくとも一方を判断するために前記シリアル応答を復号するためのものである、請求項1に記載の電力送信デバイス。 - 前記コントローラに動作可能に結合されたワイヤレスコミュニケータであって、前記送信アンテナのワイヤレス通信とは異なる通信チャネルを介して前記受信機デバイスと通信するためのワイヤレスコミュニケータをさらに含み、前記コントローラがさらに、前記通信チャネルからの前記受信機情報を監視するためのものである、請求項1に記載の電力送信デバイス。
- 前記結合モード領域中に、受信アンテナをもつ1つまたは複数の追加の受信機デバイスをさらに含み、前記通信チャネルが、前記受信機デバイスと前記1つまたは複数の追加の受信機デバイスとの間のピアツーピア通信のために構成された、請求項3に記載の電力送信デバイス。
- 前記コントローラがさらに、追加の通知情報を生成するために、前記結合モード領域中の、受信アンテナをもつ1つまたは複数の追加の受信機デバイスの追加の受信機情報を監視および処理するためのものであり、
前記ユーザ知覚可能通知器がさらに、前記追加の通知情報をユーザに通信するためのものである、請求項1に記載の電力送信デバイス。 - 前記受信機情報が、デバイスタイプと一意のデバイス識別子とのうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項1に記載の電力送信デバイス。

- ホストデバイスの送信アンテナの近距離場内で結合モード領域を生成するために前記送信アンテナの共振周波数において電磁界を発生させるステップと、
前記結合モード領域中で受信アンテナをもつ受信機デバイスの存在を検出するステップと、
