Abstract
【解決手段】絶縁体8a〜8dを分割して形成した2つの分割絶縁体の一方であって、隣接する第1接合端子4a(又は4b或いは4c)の他面に固定されると共に、少なくとも第1接合端子4a(又は4b或いは4c)の嵌合方向先端側の面を覆うように形成された第1絶縁部材43a(又は44a或いは45a)と、分割絶縁体の他方であって、隣接する第2接合端子6a(又は6b或いは6c)の他面に固定され、少なくとも第2接合端子6a(又は6b或いは6c)の嵌合方向先端側の面を覆うように形成された第2絶縁部材43b(又は44b或いは45b)とを更に備え、第1ターミナルハウジング5と第2ターミナルハウジング7との嵌合時に、2つの分割絶縁体が重なり合うことで所定の厚さの絶縁体8a〜8dが形成されるものである。

Claims (5)
- 複数の第1接合端子が整列されて収納される第1ターミナルハウジングと、
複数の第2接合端子が整列されて収納される第2ターミナルハウジングとを備え、
前記第1ターミナルハウジングと前記第2ターミナルハウジングとを嵌合させると、前記複数の第1接合端子の一面のそれぞれと前記複数の第2接合端子の一面のそれぞれとが対となって複数の接点が構成されると共に、各接点を所定の厚さの絶縁体で挟むように配置される積層構造となるコネクタにおいて、
隣接する前記絶縁体を押圧することで、前記複数の第1接合端子及び前記複数の第2接合端子を各接点にて一括して固定し電気的に接続させる接続部材と、
前記絶縁体を分割して形成した2つの分割絶縁体の一方であって、隣接する第1接合端子の他面に固定されると共に、少なくとも前記隣接する第1接合端子の嵌合方向先端側の面を覆うように形成された第1絶縁部材と、
前記分割絶縁体の他方であって、隣接する第2接合端子の他面に固定され、少なくとも前記隣接する第2接合端子の嵌合方向先端側の面を覆うように形成された第2絶縁部材とを更に備え、
前記第1ターミナルハウジングと前記第2ターミナルハウジングとの嵌合時に、前記2つの分割絶縁体が重なり合うことで所定の厚さの前記絶縁体が形成されることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記第2絶縁部材は、前記複数の第2接合端子を整列保持する絶縁性の第2インナーハウジングと一体に形成される請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第2絶縁部材は、嵌合方向先端側の厚さに比べて前記第2インナーハウジング側の厚さが薄くくびれるように形成される請求項2に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第2インナーハウジングには、前記第2ターミナルハウジングの内周面に面する第2接合端子の一面を覆うように且つ該第2接合端子と対となる第1接合端子の挿入を阻害しないように突出する衝立部が形成され、前記対となる第1接合端子に固定された第1絶縁部材には、前記衝立部をガイドしかわすためのガイド溝が形成される請求項2又は3に記載のコネクタ。
- 前記第1絶縁部材及び/又は前記第2絶縁部材は、固定対象の接合端子の側面も覆うように形成される請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のコネクタ。
