Abstract

Claims (13)
- 物理的かつ電気的な絶縁障壁によって隔てられた電力源と電力が供給される装置について、前記電力源と前記電力が供給される装置との間を送電するパワーカプラシステムであって、
第1の装置に含まれる第1の部分と、第2の装置に含まれる第2の部分と、を有する磁気回路を含むパワーカプラからなり、
前記第1の部分は、第1のコア部と、この第1のコア部の上に設けられた第1のコイルとを含み、
前記第1のコア部は、透磁性材からなる断面を有し、かつ、絶縁障壁との境界において、前記第1のコイル内部の断面積よりも実質的に大きく、
ドッキングモードにおいて、前記磁気回路の第1の部分は、第2の装置に設けられた第2の部分と、近接して配置されて、完全な磁気回路を形成し、前記第1の装置と前記第2の装置との間で送電するのに用いられ、
前記磁気回路の第2の部分は、第2のコア部と、この第2のコア部に付随する第2のコイルとを含み、
前記第2のコイルは、前記ドッキングモードにおいて、前記送電のために、前記完成した磁気回路を介して前記第1のコイルと磁気的に結合することを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記第1のコア部は、前記絶縁障壁との境界において、略平らなコア断面を少なくとも1つ有し、
前記第2のコア部は、前記絶縁障壁との境界において、略平らなコア断面を有し、
前記第1のコア部のコア断面は、対応する前記第2のコア部のコア断面に隣接して、前記完全な磁気回路を形成することを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項2に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記略平らな第1のコア部のコア断面は、この略平らな第1のコア部のコア断面の大部分を覆いかつ前記第2のコア部を含む装置を用いることなく、前記略平らな第2のコア部のコア断面に近接して配置可能であること特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記磁気回路の第2の部分は、透磁性材からなる第2のコア部を含み、
前記第2のコア部は、絶縁障壁との境界において、前記第2のコア部の上に設けられた第2のコイルの内部よりも実質的に大きな断面積を有することを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記第1の装置、および、前記第2の装置は、それぞれ、
(a)携帯装置、
(b)前記携帯装置に対するドッキングステーション
であることを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記透磁性材からなる第1のコア部は、複数のコアの断片を有し、
前記コアの断片の接合部のうち少なくとも1つには、柔軟な鋼鉄材が設けられることを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記磁気回路の第1の部分と、前記磁気回路の第2の部分との間の物理的な境界は、略平らであることを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記絶縁障壁との境界において、前記第1のコイル内部よりも実質的に大きい断面積は、少なくとも1.5倍以上大きいことを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記透磁性材は、
(a)フェライト材、
(b)複合材料、
(c)粉末状の鉄、
(d)ケイ素鋼層、
(e)アモルファス磁性材
のうち少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のパワーカプラシステムにおいて、
前記物理的かつ電気的な絶縁障壁は、少なくとも0.01インチであることを特徴とするパワーカプラシステム。 - 物理的かつ電気的な絶縁障壁によって隔てられた電力源と電力が供給される装置について、前記電力源と前記電力が供給される装置との間を、電力とデータを伝送する携帯装置であって、
第1の装置に含まれる第1の部分、第2の装置に含まれる第2の部分、を有する磁気回路を含むパワーカプラと、電気的に絶縁されたデータトランスデューサと、からなり、
前記第1の部分は、第1のコア部と、この第1のコア部の上に設けられた第1のコイルとを含み、
前記第1のコア部は、透磁性材からなる断面を有し、かつ、絶縁障壁との境界において、前記第1のコイル内部の断面積よりも実質的に大きく、
ドッキングモードにおいて、前記磁気回路の第1の部分は、第2の装置に設けられた第2の部分と、近接して配置されて、完全な磁気回路を形成し、前記第1の装置と前記第2の装置との間で送電するのに用いられ、
前記磁気回路の第2の部分は、第2のコア部と、この第2のコア部に付随する第2コイルとを含み、
前記第2のコイルは、前記ドッキングモードにおいて、前記送電のために、前記完成した磁気回路を介して前記第1のコイルと磁気的に結合し、
前記データトランスデューサは、前記第1の装置のネットワークへの接続を担い、前記ドッキングモードにおいて、双方向的にデータを交換することを特徴とする携帯装置。 - 請求項11に記載の携帯装置において、
前記携帯装置は、患者用携帯監視装置を含み、
前記双方向的に交換されるデータは、前記患者用携帯監視装置によって生成される患者監視パラメータと、前記患者用携帯監視装置の機能を制御する情報と、を含むことを特徴とする携帯装置。 - 請求項11に記載の携帯装置において、
前記携帯装置のネットワーク接続は、
(a)インターネットプロトコル(IP)に準拠した接続、
(b)ユニバーサルシリアルバス(USB)に準拠した接続、
(c)ローカルエリアネットワーク(LAN)に準拠した接続、
(d)I.E.E.E.プロトコルに準拠した接続、
のうち少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする携帯装置。
