Claims (7)
- より小さいブロックに分割されるマクロブロックを含み、イントラピクチャ、予測ピクチャ又は両方向予測ピクチャとすることができるピクチャのストリームからなるデジタルビデオコンテンツを符号化又は復号する符号化又は復号方法において、
上記ピクチャのストリーム内の上記各ピクチャをフレームモード又はフィールドモードで符号化するステップを有する符号化又は復号方法。 - 上記ピクチャのストリーム内の上記両方向予測ピクチャをダイレクトモードで符号化又は復号するステップを更に有する請求項1記載の符号化又は復号方法。
- 上記ピクチャのストリーム内の上記両方向予測ピクチャに含まれるマクロブロックを分割した更に小さい各ブロックのための前方動きベクトル及び後方動きベクトルを導出するステップを更に有する請求項2記載の符号化又は復号方法。
- 上記ピクチャのストリームの上記予測ピクチャをダイレクトモードで符号化又は復号するステップを更に有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の符号化又は復号方法。
- 上記ピクチャのストリームの上記予測ピクチャに含まれるマクロブロックを分割した更に小さい各ブロックのための前方動きベクトル及び後方動きベクトルを導出するステップを更に有する請求項2記載の符号化又は復号方法。
- 上記動きベクトルの導出に使用される時間的差分を計算するステップ更に有する請求項1記載の符号化又は復号方法。
- 上記ピクチャのストリームの上記ピクチャをマルチフレーム補完予測モードで符号化するステップを更に有する請求項1記載の符号化又は復号方法。
