Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.非侵襲型プローブ装置であって、 被検者の体内に挿入するための遠方端を有する可撓性の長手プローブと、 前記遠方端に既知の関係を保って固定される第1および第2の位置センサであ って、これら位置センサの位置座標に応答する信号を発生する位置センサと、 プローブの径方向の面に設けられる少なくとも一個の接触センサであって、体 内の面に前記径方向の面が接触するとこの接触に応答して信号を発生する接触セ ンサと、 前記位置応答信号と接触応答信号を受け取り、これらの信号を処理して前記第 1および第2の位置センサの近傍にある前記プローブの部分の長さ方向に沿った 複数の地点の位置を決定する信号処理回路を具備する装置。 2.前記位置センサの少なくとも一方は、外部から印加される磁場に応答する 信号を発生する少なくとも一個のコイルを具備する請求項1に記載の装置。 3.前記信号処理回路は、前記位置センサの少なくとも一方の6次元的な位置 座標と方位座標を定める請求項1に記載の装置。 4.前記装置はさらに、曲げセンサを備える請求項1に記載の装置。 5.前記少なくとも一個の接触センサは圧力センサを含む請求項1に項記載の 装置。 6.前記少なくとも一個の接触センサは近接センサを含む請求項1に記載の装 置。 7.前記装置はさらに、前記プローブの部分の長さ方向に配置される融食装置 を具備する請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の装置。 8.前記融食装置は、前記プローブの位置にの長さ方向に沿って径方向に配置 される少なくとも一個のRF電極を含む請求項7に記載の装置。 9.前記少なくとも一個のRF電極は、電極の軸方向の配列を含む請求項8に 記載の装置。 10.前記装置はさらに、前記プローブの部分の長さ方向に配置される生理セ ンサを具備する請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項記載の装置。 11.被検者の体内における長手可撓性プローブの行路を決定する方法であっ て、 前記プローブを、前記プローブの長さ方向の部分に沿って既知の位相特徴を有 する被検者の体内の面と接触させる工程と、 前記プローブの第1および第2の地点の位置座標を発見する工程と、前記プロ ーブの第1および第2の地点の位置座標を使って、前記プローブの一部の行路を 、前記位相特徴に位置合わせする工程を含む方法。 12.前記方法はさらに、前記体内の面と接触した状態で、前記プローブの一 部の長さ方向に沿った複数の地点の位置を測定する工程を含む請求項11に記載 の方法。 13.前記位置座標を発見する工程は、6次元の並進および方位座標を発見す る工程を含む請求項11に記載の方法。 14.前記プローブの一部の行路を前記位相特徴に位置合わせする工程は、前 記プローブの曲げ角を測定する工程を含む請求項11に記載の方法。 15.前記方法はさらに、前記プローブの一部の行路の位置合わせを確認する ため、プローブによって体内の面に加えられる圧力を測定する工程を含む請求項 11に記載の方法。 16.前記方法はさらに、前記プローブの一部の行路の位置合わせを確認する ため、プローブの長さ方向にある地点の近接を測定する工程を含む請求項11に 記載の方法。 17.前記プローブを体内の面と接触させる工程は、プローブを被検者の心臓 の室の壁に接触させる工程を含み、前記プローブの行路を前記位相特徴に位置合 わせする工程は、プローブの行路を前記壁の位相特徴に位置合わせする工程を含 む請求項11乃至請求項16のいずれか1項記載の方法。 18.被検者の心臓における電気活性のマッピング方法であって、 長手で可撓性のプローブを前記心臓に挿入する工程と、 前記プローブの前記心臓内における行路を、請求項17項記載の方法に従って 決定する工程と、 前記プローブに隣接する心臓組織から発生する電気信号を受け取る工程を含む 方法。 19.被検者の心臓の非侵襲的治療方法であって、 長手で可撓性のプローブを前記心臓に挿入する工程と、 前記プローブの前記心臓内における行路を、請求項17に記載の方法に従って 決定する工程と、 前記プローブに隣接する心臓組織を融食する工程を含む方法。 20.前記心臓組織を融食する工程は、前記プローブの行路に沿って軸方向に 並ぶ一連の箇所において組織を融食する工程を含む請求項19に記載の方法。 21.前記プローブを心臓内の面の位相特徴に触れさせる工程は、前記プロー ブの一部を前記位相特徴に当てて、非直線形状に曲げる工程を含み、前記一連の 箇所において組織を融食する工程は、前記プローブの曲げられた一部に沿って、 相互に非直線的な方位を向いた箇所において組織を融食する工程を含む請求項2 0に記載の方法。 22.前記方法は、前記プローブに隣接する心臓組織から電気信号を受け取る 工程を含む請求項19に記載の方法。 23.前記電気信号を受け取る工程は、前記プローブに隣接する心臓組織を融 食するのに用いられる電極から信号を受け取る工程を含む請求項22に記載の方 法。
