Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.心臓バイパス手術中に患者の血液に酸素を供給するとともに同血液を加熱 または冷却するための一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20)であっ て、 血液と熱交換液を分離するとともに、バリア(22)を横切って伝熱ができる 略管状の熱交換器バリア(22)と、 熱交換器バリア(22)を緊密に収容する流入マニホルド(24)であって、 熱交換器バリア(22)の一方の側に沿って延材する血液流入通路(54)と、 熱交換器バリア(22)の他方の側に沿って延在する血液流出スロット(56) とを画定し、血液流入通路(54)と血液流出スロット(56)は、熱交換器バ リア(22)のまわりの略円周方向に延在する血流通路(54)を画定する流入 マニホルド(24)と、 マット(68)の複数の襞を具備し、マット(68)の各襞は、中を酸素が流 れて多孔性中空糸(64)のまわりを流れる血液に酸素を供給する多孔性中空糸 (64)を具備する血液酸素供給媒体(26)であって、流出スロット(56) を出た血液が酸素供給媒体(26)を通らなければならないように流入マニホル ド(24)のまわりを覆っている酸素供給媒体(26)と、 酸素供給媒体(26)と流入マニホルド(24)と熱交換器バリア(22)と を緊密に収容するハウジング(28)であって、流入マニホルド(24)の血液 流出スロット(56)に略対向するハウジング(28)の一方の側に沿って長手 方向に延在する流出マニホルド(86)を画定し、それにより流入マニホルド( 24)の血液流出スロット(56)とハウジング(28)の流出マニホルド(8 6)の間で流入マニホルド(24)のまわりに延在する血液酸素供 給媒体(26)を通る血液流路を画定し、流出マニホルド(86)と流体連通し ている血液流出口(23)と、流入マニホルド(24)の血液流入通路(54) と流体連通している血液流入口(21)とを有するハウジング(28)と、を具 備する一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20)。 2. 血液が流出マニホルド(86)と血液流出口(23)を通ってハウジン グ(28)から出る前に血液を濾過するように、前記血液酸素供給媒体(26) と流出マニホルド(86)の間に配設される血液濾過媒体(30)を更に具備す る、請求項1に記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20)。 3.前記血液酸素供給媒体(26)は、血液流出スロット(56)と略対向す る流入マニホルド(24)の側面に沿って延在する間隙(62)を画定する対向 する端部を有し、前記血液濾過媒体(30)は該間隙(62)の中に配設される 、請求項2に記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20)。 4.血液濾過媒体(30)が詰まった場合には血液濾過媒体(30)をバイパ スして、血液が血液濾過媒体(30)を通らずにハウジング(28)から出られ るようにするバイパス手段であって、血液酸素供給媒体(26)の対向する端部 (58と60)の間の間隙(26)と流体連通してるハウジング(28)上のバ イパスポートを具備するバイパス手段を更に備えた、請求項2または請求項3に 記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20)。 5.血液濾過媒体(30)の上流でガスを通気するために、血液酸素供給媒体 (26)の対向する端部間の間隙(62)および血液濾過媒体(30)と流体連 通して、ハウジング(28)上の少なくとも1個のベントポート(74)を更に 備えた、請求項2から請求項4のいずれかに記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器なら びに熱交換器 (20)。 6.前記血液濾過媒体(30)はプリーツ形フィルタ要素(30)を具備する 、請求項2から請求項5のいずれかに記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱 交換器(20)。 7.前記マット(68)は1個の中空糸マット(68)を具備し、 前記多孔性中空糸(64)は所定間隔で配列される複数の中空糸(64)から なり、前記単一マット(68)は中空糸(64)を保持するための複数の連結糸 (66)を更に具備し、 マット(68)は、折畳み線(FL−1,FL−2,…,FL−N)に沿って 繰返し折り返され、それぞれの折畳み線は中空糸(64)に対して斜角(σ)を なし、多層中空糸血液酸素供給媒体(26)のいずれかの襞の中空糸(64)が 多層中空糸血液酸素供給媒体(26)の隣接する連続襞の中空糸(64)と交差 するように配設される多層中空糸血液酸素供給媒体(26)を形成する、 請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱 交換器(20)。 8.前記マット(68)は略細長で、中空糸(64)はマット(68)の長手 方向に対して斜角(90−σ)をなして延在し、折畳み線(FL−1,FL−2 ,…,FL−N)は互いに略平行であるとともにマット(68)の長手方向に対 しては略垂直をなし、中空糸(64)と折畳み線(FL−1,FL−2,…,F L−N)の間の斜角(σ)は約1〜15度であり、連結糸(66)は所定の間隔 に配列されてマット(68)の略長手方向に延在し、連結糸(66)は中空糸( 64)と織り合わされてマット(68)の中空糸および連結糸(64と66)を 保持する、請求項7に記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20) 。 9.任意の襞に沿った折畳み線(FL−1,FL−2,…,FL −N)間の距離は、別の襞に沿った折畳み線(FL−1,FL−2,…,FL− N)間の距離と同じであり、その配置構成は、流入マニホルド(24)のまわり を多層中空糸血液酸素供給媒体(26)が覆っているときに、襞があることによ り、流入マニホルド(24)からハウジング(28)に向かって血液酸素供給媒 体(26)の対向する端部(58と60)間に外側方向に次第に広がる間隙(6 2)を残すような構成である、請求項7または請求項8に記載の一体型の血液酸 素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20)。 10.熱交換器バリア(22)は、協同して血液流路(32)を形成する複数 のチャネル(32)を画定する波状の壁を有する略管状の金属バリア(22)か ら成り、該複数のチャネルは金属バリア(22)のまわりに略円周方向に延在し 、流入マニホルド(24)は、血液流路(32)が実質的に前記チャネル(32 )に限定されるように緊密に熱交換器バリア(22)を収容する、請求項1から 請求項9のいずれかに記載の一体型の血液酸素供給器ならびに熱交換器(20) 。
