Abstract

989,275. Roofing tiles; roofs. TURNERS ASBESTOS CEMENT CO. Ltd. Oct. 8, 1963 [Feb. 21, 1963], No. 7062/63. Headings E1B and E1V. Asbestos-cement roofing tiles are formed with two crests of different heights, the tiles being secured to purlins 1 at their smaller crests by nails 8 passing through capping pieces 7 which extend down the side of the crest to the trough 6. The ridge of the roof is completed with conventional part-circular tiles or with pairs of tiles each having a part-circular part which overlaps each other at the ridge.
