An inflatable mattress for an infant has an inflatable inner case formed by two sheets of rubberized cloth 1 attached together along the peripheral edge 2 and elsewhere to form a pillow 3, separately inflatable, and a portion 5 forming a rectangular frame around a non- inflatable region 6, a removable cover 7 of rubberized cloth having perforations 9 being placed over the trough part of the mattress so that inflation stretches it above the trough which collects urine.
