Abstract
A nickel base alloy has the following composition by weight:- .Cr.14 to 17%, .Co.5 to 20%, .Mo.4 to 7%, .Al.3,6 to 5%, .Ti.3 to 4%, .B.0,01 to 0,05%, .C.up to 0,08%, .with or without Si.up to 0,1%, .Mn.up to 0,1%, .and Fe.up to 0,2%, .the balance being Ni and impurities.. The sheet alloy may be heated at 2100 DEG F. for 1/2 hour, air cooled, reheated at 1400 DEG F. for 16 hours and air cooled.
