Abstract
818,691. Rotary pumps &c. LACYHULBERT & CO. Ltd. May 16, 1958 [May 20, 1957], No. 15975/57. Class 110 (2). A rotary air pump of the outwardly sliding vane-type has at least five regularly spaced vanes arranged in slots, tangential to a circle concentric with the rotor axis. The pump contains main inlet and outlet ports together with a subsidiary inlet port, so located that at least one vane is always present between consecutive ports. Dry operation is secured by the use of vane material requiring no lubrication.
