Abstract

799,468. Spray-producers. RISDON MANUFACTURING CO. Nov. 15, 1956 [March 27, 1956], No. 34952/56. Class 69 (3). [Also in Group XXVIII] A spray nozzle includes a body 32 of relatively stiff but resiliently deformable material formed with a recess or socket 40 which receives a relatively rigid cup 60 forced into position over a lip 46 of the socket. The cup base has a central spray outlet 68 and sealingly engages the base of the socket which includes a central depression 52 fed tangentially with liquid from grooves 58 leading from an annular groove 50. The latter is fed via passages 36 and 38. The passage 36 is fed from a hollow stem to which the body 32 is attached, and the stem is supplied via an eduction tube leading into a liquid container, the liquid being forced therefrom by gas pressure.
