Abstract

795,208. Nozzles. CARRIER ENGINEERING CO., Ltd. Dec. 13, 1955 [Feb. 24, 1955], No. 35807/55. Class 69 (3). Liquid supplied to one end 3 of a hollow member 2 flows into a chamber 4 and issues from an outlet 16 formed in a flexible domeshaped diaphragm 14 attached to a nozzle cap 5. The central part 15 of the diaphragm is capable of distortion to remove lint &c. which may clog the outlet. The nozzle is for use in air washers.
