Abstract

696,973. Agricultural implements. SPURR. A. B. Feb. 29, 1952 [March 12, 1951], No. 5855/51. Class 6(i) Relates to an agricultural implement of the kind in which a number of tool supports 11 each carrying a tool or set of tools 36 are connected preferably by parallel links 16 to a supporting frame 14 adapted for attachment to a tractor, the working load of the tools being determined by an adjustable skid 37 or guide wheel. According to the present invention a pair of tool bars 26 are provided with two or more laterally extending rods 27 arranged to slide into the tool supports so as to be laterally adjustable. As shown applied to a machine as described in Specification 641,519 the rods of each bar 26 are arranged to pass through the support and into the other bar and are secured by clamps 31. The tools 36 are held in . place by clamps 34. Holes 28 are provided so that the rods 27 and clamps. 34 respectively may be longitudinally adjustable. The supports 11 are transversely adjustable on the main frame 14.
