Abstract

633,784. Agricultural implements. TAMKIN BROS. & CO., Ltd., and BIRD, F. Aug. 6, 1947, No. 21357. [Class 6(i)] Tool supports 9 are provided with jaws 5 which grip parallel bars 1, 2 of a tool frame in such a manner that movement of the jaws relatively to the bars in the direction opposite to the direction of travel of the machine will increase the grip of the jaws on the bars. Pins are provided in slots 11 'to retain the tools in position, holes being provided in the frame to allow lateral adjustment of the tools. Each jaw has two pairs of slots, each pair being spaced apart so as to provide a vernier arrangement with respect to the holes in the frame.
