588,898. Draught excluders. BRIGHT, T. J. R. April 9, 1945, No. 5966. [Class 20 (iii)] A draught-excluding strip comprises a substantially flat or angle or channel-shaped marginal portion 1 attached to a flange 6 secured in the door opening, and part-tubular or channelshaped parts 2 and 3 which are engaged by the closing door so that their ends 4, 5 press against the flange 6. A trimming cover strip 7 may be provided. When the marginal portion is angle or channel-shaped a carpet or other floor covering may fit into the angle or channel and by its weight help to maintain the draught excluder in position. Specifications 516,472, 522,025 and 548,757 are referred to.
