Abstract

586,946. Mounting lamp-shades. JOLESCH, A. Feb. 28, 1945, No. 5010. [Class 75 (ii)] A lamp shade 9 is adjustably mounted on a lamp-holder socket 4 by means of a frame 1 carrying a ball 6 on which the lamp shade spider 10 is supported by a flanged cup 7 carrying a rubber or other ring 14 surrounding the ball and held in place by a washer 15. The ring 11 and, if desired, a reflector 13 are secured to the cup flange 7a by a ring nut 8.
