Abstract

533,276. Rotary pumps &c. JENNINGS, 1. C. Oct. 26, 1939, No. 28764. [Class 110 (i)] In a liquid ring pump or . compressor such as is described in Specifications 324,249 and 324,286, [both in Class 110 (i)], a substantial clearance 26 is provided between the rotor blades 17 and the lands 13 14 of the casing to reduce hydraulic shock. Flanges on the rotor may have a running fit with the casing.
