488,885. Cables. SOUTHERN UNITED TELEPHONE CABLES, Ltd., WHITEHOUSE, W. P., and MOORE, A. T. C. April 15, 1937, No. 10768. [Class 36] A spacing-member of an airspace cable comprises two radially slotted discs 3, 4 of insulating material, e.g. mica, assembled together on the central conductor 1 so that the planes of the discs intersect, the central conductor passing through the slots at the centre of each disc. The discs 3, 4 may be elliptical, the outer tube 2, of metal or insulating material, being circular in cross-section.
