Abstract
364,011. Box &c. fastenings. MAJESTIC METAL SPECIALTIES, Inc., 342, West 14th Street, New York, U.S.A. Sept. 15, 1930, No. 27567. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1929. [Class 44.] A fastening for the hinged lid of a powder box comprises a plate 42 which adjoins the front of the box and carries a hook 44 engaging a recess in the edge of the lid. The lid is released by pressing in a stud 43 attached to the plate. The plate also carries a catch 45 which engages a recess in and holds closed a cover 31 on the base of the box, the cover being released by pulling back the catch by means of a finger nail recess 46 therein.
