Description

Jacking point The invention relates to a jacking point for coupling to a bodyshell element of a motor vehicle bodyshell. The invention also relates to a combination of a motor vehicle bodyshell having a bodyshell element and of a jacking point.
DE 10 2017 211 011 Al discloses a jacking point which can receive a vehicle lifting device and be fastened to a bodyshell part of a vehicle. The subject matter does not include corrosion protection.
DE 198 31 548 Cl discloses a receiving device for a motor vehicle jack, having a base body from which resilient assembly fingers protrude, and a seal lip running around the edge of the base body is formed from a soft plastic. For corrosion protection, precise assembly of the receiving device is necessary so that the sealing lip is in encircling abutment. The plastic of the seal lip is also subjected to an aging process, with the result that the sealing action decreases over time.
The invention seeks to provide a jacking point that is improved in comparison.
An aspect of the invention provides a jacking point as claimed in claim 1. The jacking point serves for coupling to a bodyshell element of a motor vehicle bodyshell, in particular to a rocker panel. The jacking point has a base body (support structure) formed from a hard component. A soft component which is applied by injection and which is made of rubber is provided in a portion which is formed on a first side of the base body. This makes it possible to achieve an advantageous sealing action and thus lasting corrosion protection, since the portion can be sealed relative to the bodyshell element of the motor vehicle bodyshell by means of the soft component made of rubber. The soft component achieves a seal action. In other words, the soft component functions as a seal.
The portion of the base body is formed in particular in an integral and materially uniform manner with the base body. The hard component may be, in particular, a suitable plastic, preferably a hard, impact-resistant plastic.
The first side of the base body is in particular an assembly side, that is to say the side which, in the assembled state of the jacking point, faces toward the bodyshell element of the motor vehicle bodyshell or the motor vehicle.
The jacking point can be produced by a two-component injection-molding process, wherein the hard component (for example hard, impact-resistant plastic) is a first injection-molded component and the soft component (rubber) is a second injection-molded component.
Preferably, the portion may be elevated relative to the first side and the soft component may be formed on the portion in a partially or completely encircling manner. As a result, the jacking point can be inserted by way of the portion into an opening formed on the bodyshell element, wherein, in the assembled state, the opening can be closed by means of the projecting portion and sealed by means of the soft component.
Preferably, the portion and the soft component may be configured and/or defined to sealingly close an opening formed in the bodyshell element, in particular in the rocker panel. As a result, the corrosion protection on the bodyshell element is very significantly improved, since the opening can be sealingly closed by means of the portion and the soft component. The opening may be, in particular, a suspension fixture of a transporting suspension means, with which a motor vehicle can be transported in a suspended manner during manufacture. The portion along with the soft component makes it possible to close a hole of the suspension fixture in the bodyshell element or rocker panel, such that the motor vehicle bodyshell or the motor vehicle body can be sealed in the region of the bodyshell element or rocker panel. Sealingly closing the opening or suspension fixture for the transporting suspension means by means of the jacking point has the advantage that separate sealing measures, for example closure plugs, for closing and sealing the opening in question can be omitted. This saves on manufacturing and assembly outlay.
Preferably, the portion may extend with a circular ring-shaped cross section along a central longitudinal direction away from the base body toward a free end of the portion, wherein the portion is closed at the free end. This contributes to a material-saving and stable design. Due to the closed design of the portion, the latter is closed from the first side (assembly side) toward a second side facing away therefrom (underside or side for receiving a vehicle lifting device).
Preferably, the portion may be of dome-shaped form at the free end. This favors a stable design since notch effects can be avoided. A dome-shaped design also makes the assembly of the jacking point on the vehicle easier, since insertion of the portion into the opening on the bodyshell element of the motor vehicle bodyshell is made easier (insertion aid).
Preferably, the soft component may be of circular ring-shaped form. This contributes to a stable design of the soft component, wherein the soft component completely encircles the portion.
Preferably, the soft component may have a projecting sealing lip (which projects axially on the first side of the base body). This improves a sealing action since the sealing lip enables a certain degree of tolerance compensation.
Preferably, the base body may have a receiving region, which is open in particular toward the first side, for a welding flange on the motor vehicle bodyshell. As a result, the base body can span the welding flange and thus also be supported on the motor vehicle bodyshell on the other side of the welding flange. The base body may have supports or struts which project toward the first side and which support the base body on bodyshell elements.
Preferably, the base body may have, on a second side facing away from the first side, a recess for receiving an engagement part of a jack and/or a contact surface for abutment or reception of a lifting platform plate. The jacking point or the base body is thus suitable for receiving various vehicle lifting devices. The recess for the engagement part may be configured to receive at least certain portions of a substantially bushing-like or circular-cylindrical engagement part of a jack. Lateral protrusions, which are configured to engage around the engagement part of the jack in a form-fitting manner, may be present at the recess. As a result, it is possible to avoid lateral "sliding off' of the jacking point from the jack. The engagement part may be removed from the base body toward the second side. The contact surface for a lifting platform plate affords a sufficiently large support. The contact surface may be oriented orthogonally to the central longitudinal axis of the portion.
One or more fastening orifices, which pass through the base body from the first side to the second side, may be formed on the base body. In this way, the jacking point can be fastened to the bodyshell element of the motor vehicle bodyshell, in particular to the rocker panel, for example by screws being plugged through the fastening orifices and being screw-fastened using blind rivet nuts introduced into the bodyshell element.
A second aspect of the invention provides a combination as claimed in the coordinate claim. With regard to the advantages, reference is made to the relevant statements with respect to the jacking point.
The combination comprises a motor vehicle bodyshell, having a bodyshell element, in particular a rocker panel, wherein an opening for receiving a transporting suspension means in a suspended manner is formed in the bodyshell element, and a jacking point according to one or more of the preceding aspects, wherein the jacking point is coupled to the bodyshell element at the opening. In this case, in particular the portion projects into the opening on the bodyshell element and is closed by the portion and sealed by the soft component.
The measures which are discussed above and which are yet to be described below may serve for the further refinement of the combination.
Further advantageous refinements emerge from the following description and from the drawing. In the drawing: fig.1 schematically shows a perspective view of a jacking point; fig.2 schematically shows a side view of the jacking point in the assembled state; and fig.3 schematically shows a cross section of the jacking point as per section III-Ill in figure 2.
Fig.1 schematically shows a perspective illustration of a jacking point 10.
The jacking point 10 serves for coupling to a bodyshell element 102 of a motor vehicle bodyshell 100, to a rocker panel 104 in the example (see figs. 2 and 3). The jacking point 10 has a base body 12 formed from a hard component (see fig. 1). The base body 12 has a first side 14 (assembly side 14) which, in the assembled state of the jacking point 10, faces toward the rocker panel 104 or the motor vehicle. The base body 12 has a second side 16 (underside 16) which, in the assembled state, faces away from the rocker panel 104 or from the motor vehicle.
A soft component 20 which is applied by injection and which is made of rubber is provided in a portion 18 which is formed on the first side 14 of the base body 12. In the example, the portion 18 is formed integrally and materially uniformly with the base body 12. The hard component may for example be a hard, impact-resistant plastic.
The portion 18 is elevated relative to the first side 14 and the soft component 20 is formed on the portion 18 in a completely encircling manner (see fig. 1). As a result, the jacking point 10 can be inserted by way of the portion 18 into an opening 106 formed on the rocker panel 104, wherein sealing can be effected by means of the soft component 20 (see fig. 3).
The portion 18 and the soft component 20 are configured and defined to sealingly close the opening 106 formed in the rocker panel 104 (see fig. 3). In the example, the opening 106 is a suspension fixture of a transporting suspension means, as explained above. The portion 18 along with the soft component 20 makes it possible to close a hole in the rocker panel 104, such that the motor vehicle bodyshell 100 or the motor vehicle body can be sealed in the region of the rocker panel 104.
The portion 18 extends with a circular ring-shaped cross section along a central longitudinal direction 22 away from the base body 12 toward a free end 24 of the portion 18, wherein the portion 18 is closed at the free end 24 (see fig. 3). The portion 18 is of dome-shaped form at the free end 24.
The soft component 20 is of circular ring-shaped form. The soft component 20 has a sealing lip 26 which projects axially on the first side 14 of the base body 12 (see fig. 3).
The base body 12 has a receiving region 28, which is open toward the first side 14, for a welding flange 108 on the motor vehicle bodyshell 100 (see fig. 3). The base body 12 has supports or struts 30, 32 which project toward the first side 14 and which support the base body 12 on bodyshell elements 104, 110.
The base body 12 has, on the second side 16, a recess 34 (see figs. 2 and 3) for receiving an engagement part of a jack (not shown). The recess 34 is configured to receive certain portions of a substantially bushing-like or circular-cylindrical engagement part of a jack. Lateral protrusions 36, 38 are present at the recess 34 in order to engage around the engagement part of the jack in a form-fitting manner.
The base body 12 has, on the second side 16, a contact surface 40 for abutment of a lifting platform plate (not shown). In the example, the contact surface is oriented orthogonally to the central longitudinal axis 22 of the portion 18 (see fig. 3).
In the example, two fastening orifices 42, 44, which pass through the base body 12 from the first side 14 to the second side 16, are formed on the base body 12 (see fig. 1). In this way, the jacking point 10 can be fastened to the rocker panel 104, as explained above.
In addition to the jacking point 10, figures 2 und 3 also show a portion of a motor vehicle bodyshell 100, to which reference has already been made in part, and a combination of jacking point 10 and motor vehicle bodyshell 100.
The combination comprises the motor vehicle bodyshell 100, having the bodyshell element 102, in the example the rocker panel 104, wherein the opening 106 for receiving a transporting suspensions means (not shown) in a suspended manner is formed in the bodyshell element 102, and a jacking point 10 as described above.
The jacking point 10 is coupled to the rocker panel 104 at the opening 106. In this case, the portion 18 projects into the opening 106, wherein the opening 106 is closed by the portion 18 and sealed by the soft component 20.
