Abstract
243,387. Schõffer & Budenberg Ges. Nov. 24, 1924, [Convention date]. Bourdon pressure gauges; with damping-arrangements. -Between the Bourdon tube 1 and the indicating parts is provided an elastic intermediate member 2 to minimize the effects of rapidly fluctuating pressures or of vibrations from the gauge mountings. The elastic member is preferably constituted by an elliptically shaped spring 2. If the indicating parts 3, 5 of the instrument do not possess sufficient inertia a disc 6 'is mounted on the spindle of the indicating needle, and this disc may rotate between the poles of a magnet 7 the eddy currents exerting a braking action on the disc.
