Abstract

1531474 Valves EWARTS Ltd 15 Jan 1976 [21 Feb 1975] 7428/75 Heading F2V A valve has an 0-ring 22, for fluid sealing, located between a pair of non-planar spaced surfaces of adjacent co-operating elements (e.g. the bore of the body 10 and the convex surface of a plug 14), the 0-ring being supported by a sleeve 20. The sleeve as shown in Fig. 1 may be fixed in the blind bore so that the 0-ring surrounds the end of bore 12 of a transverse conduit. A second 0-ring 24 may effect axial seal for the plug.
