Abstract

1307402 Valves NIKEX NEHEZIPARI KULKERESKEDELMI VALLALAT 19 March 1970 13284/70 Heading F2V A valve has a sleeve closure member in which the forces exerted thereon by the controlled medium are neutralized. Fig. 1 shows a valve having an inlet 4a and outlet 4b and a closure sleeve 2 which closes outlet ports 18. In a modified arrangement (Fig. 2, not shown) closure sleeve (23) has a seal (24) which cooperates with a land (25) to control flow of fluid between ports (20, 21). In both cases the opposite ends of the closure sleeve are subjected to the same pressure/area ratio.
