Abstract
1409745 Spray carburetters AUTOELEKTRONIKAG 4 Dec 1972 [4 Dec 1971] 55962/72 Heading F1B The fuel flow from a chamber 23 to the nozzle 24 is controlled by a valve 7, 8 connected through a magnetic member 13 and a spring 16 to the operating linkage 30 of the throttle valve 2. The member 13 is mounted in a coil 20 having one or more windings which may be supplied with a current to modify the position of the valve 7, 8 in response to the position of the valve 2. The current in the coil may be controlled in accordance with atmospheric pressure, humidity or temperature or engine speed or to increase the fuel valve opening for starting or acceleration. The linkage 30 between the valves 7, 8 and 2 may be adjustable. The fuel is supplied to the chamber 23 by a pump 27 and a pressure relief valve 24 operates to provide a constant pressure in the chamber, e.g. 0.15 ats. g.
