Abstract

1497873 Treating uranium ore plant waste water VYZKUMNY USTAV CHEMICKYCH ZARIZENI BRNO 18 Jan 1975 2278/75 Heading C1A Radioactively contaminated waste water from an installation for chemically preparing uranium ore is concentrated by evaporation, an inorganic salt (e.g. Na 2 SO 4 ) is crystallized from the solution, e.g. by further evaporation, by cooling, or by cooling and vacuum evaporation, the salt is separated from the mother liquor, the latter is returned to the installation, and condensate obtained from the evaporation is returned to the installation to provide fresh water for use in the ore treatment.
