Abstract

1448350 Electrostatographic developer CANON KK 12 June 1974 [14 June 1973 (2)] 26072/74 Heading G2H A liquid developer, particularly suitable for multi-colour electrostatographic reproduction, comprises a dispersion in an insulating carrier liquid of a toner, a surface active agent and a polyterpene resin. Many known toner components, i.e. pigments and resins, surface active agents and insulating liquids, for use in liquid electrostatographic developers are specified as being suitable for use with the developer of the invention. A number of suitable commercially available polyterpene resins are specified by their trade names, and have softening points of 50‹C and above.
