Abstract

1332394 Valves FISKER & NEILSEN AS 9 Sept 1971 [11 Sept 1970] 42118/71 Heading F2V A fluid flow control valve comprises a housing 1 having two bores 5, 6 leading to its interior, and a rotatable valve member 2 having an elliptical rib 9 so that in one position (shown in bold lines) the bores are isolated and in a second position (shown in chain dotted lines) the bores are connected. The valve member may be provided with several axially spaced ribs and the housing with additional bores, for example at 16. The valve housing is made of relatively rigid plastics material either thermoplastic or thermosetting and the valve member of a less rigid plastics material.
