Abstract

1,032,660. Troughing rollers for endless conveyers. EISENWERK WESERHUTTE A.G. June 26, 1964 [June 27, 1963], No. 26546/64. Heading B8A. Suspended troughing rollers 2 for a conveyer belt 3 have their stationary shafts 4 connected by flat links 5 which engage studs 10 provided on carrier rings 7. These rings engage spring rings 9 located in annular grooves 8 in the shafts 4. The rollers are mounted on roller bearings 1. In Figs. 3, 4 (not shown), hooked pins 11 on the rings 7 are engaged by chain links 6 and dimensions a, b are such that disengagement of the rollers 2 is prevented during operation. However, when disengagement is required, the shafts 4 are aligned, Fig. 4 (not shown), and the links 6 may be removed.
