Abstract

1,084,809. Knitting-machines. KARL MAYER TEXTILMASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. May 5, 1966 [May 6, 1965], No. 19864/66. Heading D1C. A presser bar 5 in a warp knitting machine is carried on a lever 6 driven by a link 8 through coupling pin 9 but if it is required not to press the needles then an eccentric 10 of pin 9 in lever 6 is rotated to move the presser bar 5 away from the needles when pressing would normally occur. The eccentric is driven from the machine drive 14 by a chain 11 through a clutch 15 and a chain 13.
