Abstract

1,060,657. Agricultural implements. E. BECK. Nov. 20, 1963, No. 45842/63. Heading A1B. A reciprocating harrow comprises two tine bars 7, 7<SP>1</SP> pivotally connected to a lever 6 provided with a pin 5, the lever 6 being oscillated to reciprocate the bars 7, 7<SP>1</SP> by means of a rocker 9 having an end 10 which is received in a bore 11 of a crank arm 3. The bars 7 are maintained parallel by cables, ropes or chains 8. Another pair of cables, ropes or chains 8<SP>1</SP> connect the front bar 7 to the ends of the cross beam 1. In a modification shown dotted the bars 7 are connected by arms 8<SP>11</SP> which are pivotally mounted on cross arms 14 carried by a frame member 4.
