Abstract
992,323. Agricultural implements. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. Feb. 28, 1962 [May 17, 1961], No. 7819/62. Heading A1B. A soil cultivating implement such as a harrow is connected to a tractor by coupling elements which are so arranged that in use of the implement the frame can perform an oscillating motion. As shown two outer harrow frames are pivoted to a central frame 2. The central frame 2 is provided with a beam 7 to which is fixed beams 8 and 9 which are connected by a beam 10. Strips 11 on the beam 10 are connected to a member 49 comprising a plurality of blade springs the other end of the member 49 being connected to a portion 27 connected to the tractor links 21, 23 by means of members 17 which include members 31 connected by rods 44 to the rear of the frame. The central frame may be mounted in advance of the outer frames or alternatively the three frames may be of curved shape.
