Abstract

The drill for forming annular holes for foundations comprises a tube (a) carrying an external helical cutting edge (b). Concrete is introduced into the annular hole as the drill is withdrawn through the top (e) of the hollow rod (c) carrying the drill. Once casting is complete, a reinforcing framework can be introduced into the concrete using a vibrator.
