Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie des dérivés fluorés. Elle a pour objet un procédé de production du 1,1,1,2-tétrafluoroéthane, suivant lequel on fait réagir en phase vapeur à une température élevée le trifluoroéthylène avec le fluorure d'hydrogene en présence d'un catalyseur d'hydrofluoration. Le catalyseur est de préférence un oxyde de chrome. Il est préférable que le rapport molaire du fluorure d'hydrogène au trifluoroéthylène soit de 1,4 : 1 à 1,8 : 1. Le procédé est préféré pour la production sélective du 1,1,1,2-tétrafluoroéthane.
