Abstract
L'invention concerne l'industrie des dérivés fluorés. Elle a pour objet un procédé de production du 1,1,1,2-tétrafluoroéthane, suivant lequel on fait réagir en phase vapeur à une température élevée le trifluoroéthylène avec le fluorure d'hydrogene en présence d'un catalyseur d'hydrofluoration. Le catalyseur est de préférence un oxyde de chrome. Il est préférable que le rapport molaire du fluorure d'hydrogène au trifluoroéthylène soit de 1,4 : 1 à 1,8 : 1. Le procédé est préféré pour la production sélective du 1,1,1,2-tétrafluoroéthane.The invention relates to the fluorinated derivatives industry. It relates to a process for the production of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, according to which trifluoroethylene is reacted in the vapor phase at an elevated temperature with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a hydrofluorination catalyst. The catalyst is preferably a chromium oxide. It is preferable that the molar ratio of hydrogen fluoride to trifluoroethylene is 1.4: 1 to 1.8: 1. The process is preferred for the selective production of 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane.
