Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil de coupe à haute résistance à l'usure constituée d'un substrat en carbure cémenté et d'un revêtement dur. Ce revêtement comporte au moins une couche de boronitrure de titane de formule générale TiBx Ny , où x est compris entre 0,05 et 0,80 et 1 <= x + y <= 1,25 de structure cubique à faces centrées et de paramètre de maille compris entre 4,24 et 4,28 Angstrom .
