Abstract

An electrically driven tricycle is described, in which the steering column operating on the front wheel also carries the driving motor and thus allows turning on the spot and reverse motion to be easily achieved. The driver stands on a platform which also carries the batteries, centrally located relative to the rear wheels. Two separate supply circuits actuated by switches on the drive handle give speed control and connections to the motor are made by brushes on the steering column.
