Abstract

The coupling system is for transmission lines such as electrical, fluid or light guides. The design is primarily aimed at high packing densities of such transmission lines and to provide a holding system from a low number of manufactured parts. The transmitting elements are connected and placed in a block system in two basic halves each having alternate male and female sections and each section carrying a groove taking the cable etc. Each section is offset to allow mating of the two halves. Such blocks can be fitted together in order to provide any number of connections.
