Abstract
A cartridge for sporting guns as in the main patent which includes a shock absorber between the powder containing part and the lead shot containing part, instead of empoying a single shock absorber element, uses a pair of tubes with their axes at right angles to the axis of the cartridge, spaced apart and equidistant from the central axis. They may be attached by point contact, seen in cross section, or the attachment may be spread over an area. The ends of the tubes may be at right angles to their axes, or may be cropped at an angle to match, the curved periphery of the cartridge. The cross section of the tubes may be circular, oval or polygonal.
