Abstract

The pants are made of supple plastic with an outer covering of attractive material and have bands of supple elastic material around the thighs (26, 27) and the waist (28). The thigh openings are in two shapes, being mainly towards the anterior part for the young baby, and in a central position for when the baby is walking. The nappy support (6) is made up of three layers, two of which enclose a layer of plastic foam and have an opening through which the nappy (21) is inserted. The third layer is longer and is joined to the pants in at least two places by press studs or auto-adhesive bands (7, 8, 9, 10).
