Abstract

Rapidly soluble paracetamol, esp. for use in effervescent compsns. also contg. chlorpheniramine maleate and ascorbic acid, is prepd. by dissolving paracetamol in aqueous dioxan at about 95 degrees C, cooling with rapid stirring, and collecting the fine crystals.
