Claims (5)
- A bed, in particular a sick bed and/or care bed, comprising a bed frame (2), which carries a head board (3) on the one end and a foot part (4) on the other end, as well as comprising a side grid (6) which extends in the longitudinal direction (5) of the bed frame (2) between the head board and the foot part (3, 4), which side grid can be transferred from a use position into a non-use position, wherein the side grid (6) comprises two side grid parts (7, 8) which are designed such that they can swivel with respect to each other,
characterized in
that the side grid parts (7, 8) are connected to a common hinged strut (9) which provides a first pivot axis (10) for the one side grid part (7) and a second pivot axis (11) spaced apart from the first pivot axis (10) for the other side grid part (8), wherein the side grid parts (7, 8) respectively comprise a snap-in element (41) which cooperates with a snap-in element receiver (42) arranged on the bed frame (2), wherein the snap-in element receiver (42) comprises a spring-loaded snap-in pin (45) which cooperates with a snap-in lever (50) provided by the snap-in element (41) and arranged in a pivoting manner around a rotation axis (51), and wherein the snap-in pin (45) possesses a handle (47) which cooperates with a pivoting blocking nose (49). - A bed according to claim 1, characterized in that one of the two side grid parts (7, 8) of the side grid (6) is hinged in a pivoting manner to the head board or foot part (3, 4), wherein the head board or foot part (3, 4) comprises two aligned hinge bolts (12) which are respectively provided on the front side.
- A bed according to claim 2, characterized in that each hinge bolt (12) receives a connection piece (15) with interposition of a bearing bush (16).
- A bed according to claim 3, characterized in that the connection piece (15) comprises a sword (18) which engages into a corresponding recess (20) of the one side grid part (7, 8).
- A bed according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two pivot axes (10, 11) comprise a minimum distance (A) with respect to each other, which distance corresponds to the geometric dimension of a side grid part (7, 8) in the direction of thickness.
