Claims (11)

  1. Plug connection unit (1) which is suitable for use in an electrical contact coupling (2) of a rail-bound vehicle, in particular a train, for connecting a large number of cables of two vehicle parts, for transmitting electrical pulses and/or powers, comprising a carrier (5) and a large number of contacts (3, 4) which are fastened to the said carrier, wherein at least one connection is of redundant design, the contacts (3, 4) of the said connection being arranged to the left and to the right of a centre axis (19) and being of complementary design, characterized in that the carrier (5) comprises at least one conductor track (11) by means of which the contacts (3, 4), which are of redundant design, are electrically connected.
  2. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the contacts (3, 4) are of two-part design.
  3. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the contacts (3, 4) comprise a fixed connection part (6) and a plug element (7) or socket element (8).
  4. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 2, characterized in that the connection between the fixed connection part (6) and the plug element (7) or the socket element (8) is a screw-type, plug-type or clamping connection.
  5. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the socket element (8) comprises a contact element (9).
  6. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the contact element is an annular helical spring (9).
  7. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the carrier (5) comprises a heating system.
  8. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the carrier (5) comprises a temperature sensor and/or moisture sensor.
  9. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that further electrical components and circuits, in particular amplifiers and/or controllers, are mounted on the carrier (5).
  10. Plug connection unit (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that a plurality of plug elements (7) and/or socket elements (8) are combined to form modules.
  11. Automatic electrical contact coupling (2) which is suitable for rail-bound vehicles, for connecting two vehicle parts, comprising coupling housings (14) which can be combined by means of an operating apparatus and have plug connection units (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 9 incorporated therein in a mirror-inverted manner.
